
The first part of 2026 has been a time for new connectors–not new connections (as in people) but new connectors between distinct elements of the technology that wires my life.
I figure I have clawed back more than an hour a day of mundane tasks because I’ve developed routines that arise from connectors in Claude.ai that hook into several terabytes of content inside my Google Workspace.
Three years ago I was teaching a post-graduate course in Digital Transformation. I showed that group how to work with chatbots and how to stream content from Meta glasses. Those simple interactions are actions that primary school children perform every day. Their parents should be accelerating onto a high speed ramp that takes them into greater productivity with several AI services and trustworthy connectors.
