Hello, it’s Bernie Goldbach, and it’s Sunday the 12th of April, 2026.
I’m sitting at my kitchen table talking to you about episode 693, if you’re counting, my project, planning, and my notebook.
So it’ll be a notice book or project planning.
It’s just a side of a brown leather Taschenbegleiter from Rotofaden that I bought.
I like the thing.
Like Paul, many, I should use the thing, just write down some stuff I’m going to do, three or four things max for each day to get focus.
I have a picture that I’ll share as part of cover art here.
You can see in it a hardcover burgundy Leuchtturm where I write longer form stuff.
So I normally give a page to every hour of what I teach, although it might be a page every 15 minutes I teach based on the audience.
I also have in the picture a green leather clutch with a big thick band that holds an iPad mini, and all those things are sitting on top of a Microsoft Surface Book, which is helpful, but sometimes actually gets in the way.
I like to use the written stuff because I can think better, or actually, I should play back what I’m saying because I can think better when I’m talking to myself, making a note to myself.
I think in the photo there’ll be a Osmo Pocket 3, which contains a micro SD card that I should harvest for stuff that we’ve recorded, but I haven’t done that.
It’s really important to have this stuff planning in your head because I can lose a whole week without a focus that I make on the Saturday or Sunday preceding the week.
I actually should walk more.
I should enjoy life more instead of being tied to a flow that I haven’t broken since I entered this quasi-retirement age.
Anyway, those are my thoughts.

So in a perfect world, I’ll put things with greater thoughts, greater continuity.
It’s like pulling the red thread of the thought that I am on now to see where it goes.
