Shortening edtech planning sessions

Chris at work

I have a diligent intern, Chris Cox, working next to me as we plan a series of edtech events across Ireland and into Germany. Today I’m using two speech-to-text apps to show him how to make short work of planning sessions.

I’m starting with Otter by simultaneously producing a short audio clip with a transcript that appears below this introduction. Here is what Otter says we’re doing in preparation for a sequence of 20 to 30-minute sessions has been established for the OEB 26 event:

  1. Intro to authentic storytelling
  2. Using your phone to make stories
  3. Develop a content workflow
  4. View a knowledge vault
  5. Develop an infographic through media
  6. Use Meta Smart Glasses
  7. Set up sovereign data
  8. An open web framework
  9. Explore multimodal generativism
  10. Syndicate and present work
  11. Complete a survey and share ideas

Bernie and Chris are preparing these modules as part of the NaPodPoMo challenge. The individual podcasts are designed to lead up to the Online Education Berlin event, which is scheduled for the first week of December.
