Like many friends, I can feel the rising cost of living in Ireland. I’ve screencapped the daily electricity cost of one person living in my home as a marker.

Electricity usage on September 17, 2026, shows the highest spend around 9 am, with a total cost of €7.45, which is higher than the average Thursday spend of €5.49.
