Finding healthy food by asking the right questions

One of the most joyful activities I do happens when working with active retired people as we complete a set of tasks related to finding healthy food. I have workshops in different places that are two hours long, often with people who don’t speak English well.

I’ve discovered that people can get very accurate information from all the consumer AI apps if they (1) think about what they need and then (2) use the microphone on their phone to ask a clear question in their own language. I hope to be able to continue doing these helpful hands-on sessions in local libraries and in family resource centres throughout southeast Ireland.
