Enjoying my coworker as I enjoy sunshine

I have very polite coworker who combs through the things I’ve read and saved just before I open my computer. I appreciate the lightweight sycophancy when the AI’s routine comes up empty on a task so it politely recaps a relevant finding from a previous session.

📎 Clippings — None created in the past three days. The most recent was “What Does Winning The AI Race Actually Mean” (10 Jul), so I noted that rather than leave the section empty.

The Clippings drop into my Obsidian vault when I use a Chrome web extension. The screenshot is the launcher I’m using from Chris Milo’s Ideaverse.

The scheduled task I use with Claude Cowork to see if I should update my ever-evolving AI for Personal Productivity seems to get smarter on its own. I let it run at 10PM (something Whoop says I should not do) and here are some of its observations.

Thought process. This is a scheduled autonomous run. Let me set up a task list and begin scanning the vault.

Loaded tools, ran a command. A suggestions file for today already exists (created 07:37 this morning). This is the afternoon run. Let me set up tracking and read the current state.

Updated tasks, read 5 files. The morning run already covered 2026-07-16. Since this is the afternoon run, let me look for material modified since that run (07:37) and check whether anything new warrants an update.

Updated tasks, ran a command. Two files changed after this morning’s run: a new meeting note and tomorrow’s day note. Let me read those plus the OEB26 materials to see if there’s genuinely new teachable content.
