Getting meaningful live updates from Scheduled Tasks with Claude

I am building an EducatorOS this summer, hoping to run into others doing the same. One of my core processes involves using Claude to update short courses that I run. During the summer of 2026 one of my focal points is “AI for Managers“ because that course’s framework will support EducatorOS.

I have written a Claude scheduled task that reviews my Obsidian Vault and parts of my Google Drive bbefore summarising what I should change. Claude finds helpful items. And with clever turns of phrase, Claude reminds me how to structure my context better. The blue highlights in the accompanying image offers ideas about how this appears in daily reports.

When running another scheduled task, Claude figures out my naming conventions by reviewing other parts of a shared Google Drive. This is something many of my second year business students seemed unable to do without me prompting them to think ahead.

It feels so magical when I can run some of these processes with Claude Mobile on my Samsung S25 handset. Sure, it's a lot slower when using Dispatch mode but with forward-looking tasks pre-defined in my Claude Co-work account, I can ask for latest updates and inside information from our collaborative Obsidian Vault that coworkers share with me. I just have to allow 400% more time for Claude Co-work to finish most of the knowledge work that I launch via "Dispatch" on my basic €22 monthly account. Running at a higher tier and using Fable would be much faster.
