My four Playbooks
I have four analogue notebooks that I have mapped to online playbooks. My first playbook represents a place where I take notes, doodle, and set up checklists. When I have a pen in hand with this brown leather Roterfaden Taschenbegleiter playbook, I’m thinking with my hand. Occasionally, some of those thoughts are good enough to be captured by Readwise OCR and they become part of a decade of archived notes.
Listen to “Playbooks E720” on Spreaker.
The second Playbook is yellow (this summer) and it has strings of show notes and bull pen items for Dylan’s Little Bit of Tipp series. Online this playbook is an agent that sits inside a Claude Project.
The third Playbook is my burgundy Leuchtturm1917 journal. I can see at a glance where my long term projects are headed. I run a weekly review of the items in this playbook as part of a fortnightly audit of main projects stored inside my Obsidian Vault. This playbook will soon talk to agents that are updating each of the respective major projects I am pursuing. I am currently losing traction with this major playbook but that is normal for slow summer calendars.
The final green leather playbook holds my iPad Mini. It lets me inside each of the digital versions of the playbooks. The iPad Mini talks to Claude, Obsidian, Filmora, Otter, Gemini, and OneDrive.
I expect to share details of my process and to explain how to use Playbooks during future AI for Managers short courses. .
