Finding a typewritten letter from 1976
While cleaning out my Yahoo! email account, I discovered a letter written to me in 1976 by my grandmother. I filed the entire letter as a long JPG in my Fffound album on Flickr. I don’t believe I remember exactly why I was in Chicago and in New York City but I think that trip was part of a flying visit to a large advertising agency the USAF used as part of recruiting efforts.
My grandmother, like many other grannies I know, enjoyed rewinding favourite memories of years past. In the letter that she typed to me, I can sense she was smiling as she recalled my days as a toddler visiting NYC.
I need to carve out time to spend in local coffee shops so I can trim back tens of thousands of emails in the legacy Yahoo account I keep. I can make more Topgold Audio Clips if I start to make this a routine.
