Thanking @educatefran for smart edtech imports

I took one-on-one upskilling from Frances O’Donnell and she showed me how to upload and then quickly edit content inside H5p.com. Before my session with @educatefran I had used several facets of H5P during the 25 years I taught on the campuses of Irish universities but I had never used the smart import function of H5P.

I made a short MP4 file while reading the Sunday Times of Ireland today when inspired by a throwback image of a similar thing I used to do with my mobile phones in the early 2010s. I held a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and recorded in HD footage this time instead of using a Nokia E7 with the Qik streaming service. Recording on the DJI equipment is a fast way to produce an interactive book through a service offered by H5P. The interactive book helps readers to see what they might have missed when they heard the short video.

It’s possible to stream this content directly from the DJI camera. And it’s actually easier to record and share this type of content by using fully charged Ray-Ban Meta Glasses.
