Claude with Airtable

I’ve used dozens of Bases on Airtable while teaching university students in Ireland. During the past 18 months, my Airtable usage has percolated into discussions with other researchers across Europe. I’m delighted to see how I can cross-check my Airtable through a slash command and natural language with Claude. This works on my mobile devices and my desktop once I’ve initialised Cowork with the Product Management plugin.

Claude’s plugins have been very handy. They help me assume different roles with teams and collaborators. Each plugin bundles together skills, connectors, and sub-agents into a single package (or a deep rabbit hole, depending on your perspective). Claude makes it so easy with ready-to-go setups. And it seems that the setups get smarter every week. After all, they’re keeping info that I have requested in their context window so that’s good.

I also like the fact that Claude also connects to services I use like Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Slack, and Obsidian. I Claude has a plugin, the proper connectors seem to work straightaway. But if your knowledge management system is a rat’s nest, you need to use Claude to give it some manners.

Here’s a short video I made of the process.
