Like every Christmas, we have more noise and more warmth than on a typical December day. This Christmas we have the grandparents staying over for two nights. That’s disconcerting for one of our cats (Luna in the photo) who cannot claim the chairs she uses as her beds throughout the day.
We have put Kerry, our rehomed dog, into safekeeping on a farm. I hope she returns to us without a kennel cough.
I expect the next few posts will be automated because I am making a short digital detox. I want to plan pen to paper with Dylan (14) as we discuss a history project for 2026. Dylan enjoyed seeing Transition Year students working on Tipperary Women in History, a project with the Cashel Library that is being reviewed by the Heritage Council.
Enjoy your short break.
