AI Data Centres Need Megabuckets of Power

I’m spending the morning training Prompt Engineers, knowing how much power they need in the background. As Michael Dempsey writes, “A normal data centre needs 32 megawatts of power … for an AI data centre it’s 80 megawatts” flowing into the bldg. Perhaps AI data centres should inude planning for on-site nuclear reactors.
