Misty V'Marie Graduates
MISTY V’MARIE (nee Goldbach) followed her sister and graduated with honors at the Northern Arizona University today. She earned a BSc in Secondary Extended English Education, making her more qualified than myself in teaching people to read and write. Because of the eight-hour-late arrival of Amtrak’s Southwest Chief, we missed the ceremony but enjoyed the afters. Following the Irish tradition, they lasted for a day. Misty takes off for Oregon at the end of the month in pursuit of a Master’s degree. If she achieves that goal, she would be only the third woman in the Goldbach family tree since 1862 to reach that mark. The females are more educated in my family and why not? The male chromosone is an incomplete female chromosone.
